The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne has met the highest standards in the nation, according to a recent peer review and was recertified with the Ethical and Operational Standards for Community Foundations, as reviewed by the Indiana Grantmakers Alliance and the National Council on Foundations.
Only three out of five foundations in the nation – or about 60 percent – attain this status.
The review takes up to two years to complete and evaluates foundation applicants on 41 different standards.
